The food was absolutely delicious! Portions large enough to fully stuff 2 teenagers! W will definitely be making this restaurant or go to monthly place! The brisket was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. Fall off the bone ribs. So good!
EAT HERE!!!!!!! From the moment you step out of your car you smell BBQ. Then you walk inside and immediately feel like you’re at home with family. The food is absolutely amazing, by far the best BBQ I’ve found in Louisiana from Baton Rouge to Shreveport. We ordered the 5 meat plate and the supreme stuffed turkey leg. Y’all this is enough food to feed five people. There’s only two of us so we’ll have at least three meals. So much food. The turkey leg alone is enough for two meals. Needless to say the portion sizes are huge. Everything is actually made from scratch with love and it shows. We had the ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, turkey leg, gumbo, dirty rice, potato salad, green beans, and Mac and cheese. OMG the gumbo! Every single thing was top notch. Do yourself a favor and visit here. You’ll find amazing authentic smokey BBQ, delicious sides, great prices, and huge portions all while feeling like you’re at home with family.
What a great experience!!!! Great customer service, Great food, Great atmosphere---they definitely make you feel at home!!! And LORDDDD.....that Brisket Sandwich was the bomb!!! It seemed like they included some fat on the cut-up brisket which was OUTSTANDING!!!! I WANT IT LIKE THAT EVERY TIME. They also bring out different foods (such as oxtails & rice or sausages) while you're waiting for your food or already eating your food. I wasn't too enthused about the potato salad since it tasted like some kind of onion, or something similar, so I will get baked beans and macaroni and cheese the next time. I'm definitely looking to our future visit(s).
Visiting from Houston Texas. We stumbled upon this beautiful place. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! I am amazed at how amazingly delicious this food is!! It’s literally the best soul barbecue I’ve ever had. A total gem I swear!
You really don't need teeth to eat their meat Lol!!! This was my first visit, but not my last. I ordered a three meat plate (sausage, brisket, and ribs) with potato salad and baked beans. Everything tasted good and it was plenty!!! Additionally I left with complimentary desserts as well! Google reviews made me want to check them.out and I'm glad I did.
Do not sleep on this place!!! It’s hard to determine which was better, the food or the hospitality! We had ribs, sausage, ox tail, and the guys in the back brought out wings just to try. We will definitely be ordering those next time too! The bourbon bbq sauce added an excellent touch as well! All of the staff was so friendly and kind to our whole gang- from the Grandpa to the wiggly bare foot toddler. This is now a must stop when we are traveling through Shreveport!
Holy Smoking BBQ This place is gonna have a big fat line out the door when the word gets out. The brisket was tender and juicy, and the sausage was on point. I will say that I'm not a fan of sweet BBQ sauce, BUT with the way everything was cooked, it paired very well. Thanks for the tip ED @ TechMedics Oh, and my sides were etouffee and French fries. The fries were fine, but etouffee like some home cookin, I need a nap. Trying the smoked meatloaf next.
Felt like I was at my grandma's house. The food was cooked to perfection...meat was falling off the bone and the sides were fantastic. We sat down and they took care of us like we were family. I would have taken photos of the food, but I was too busy eating.
